Commutable Technologies LLC.
In the project, I worked along side Business, Engineering, and Graphic Design majors to created the winning product of a collaborative design competition.
Our mission: bring complex technologies to the consumer in simple, easy-to-use packaging.

The Commutable Tech logo was created using the font "Como" to create a simplistic, friendly look. Technology can be a complex topic, so inviting consumers in with a soft typeface and bright colors was a driving force in this design.
Anti-Drowsy Camera
Wakeful—the eye tracking infrared camera—alerts drivers when they start to fall asleep at the wheel.
This was Commutable Tech's winning product in the collaborative design competition.

We chose the typeface for this logo—Remora Sans W3—because of its simple and rounded design compliments the yellow and orange secondary mark.
The mark symbolizes multiple aspects of Wakeful's design. The colors and horizontal layout is reminiscent of a rising sun, The yellow part also represents the user's eye and the orange part represents the infrared the camera uses to track the user's eyes.

How it works:
The camera itself would be mounted flat on the dashboard or attached on a car mount using magnetic strips.
Wakeful does not need large amounts of light to detect the user's eyes as it uses infrared technology.
If the camera detects the user's eyes being closed for 5+ seconds, a disk will spin and create a high pitched noise to alert the driver. This noise will persist until the driver opens their eyes again.

These mockups were made using Adobe Dimensions and the 3D Model our engineers created

Before Adobe Dimensions

After Adobe Dimensions
This display mockup was created using a picture taken at a gas station and used as the background in Adobe Dimensions. The 3D model was imported into dimensions where I textured and lit the scene accurately.

The Wakeful product would have been sold on eCommerce sites such as Amazon and Walmart
